About Child Psychology
Child psychology which also called as child development, is the study of the psychological processes in children. Child psychology deals with the mental power or an interaction between the conscious and sub conscious element in a child.
Child psychology is vast and one of the most commonly studied types of psychology, which is also called as child development. This specialized psychology branch focuses on the psychological processes of children from birth to adolescence. The sequence of development has been categorized into four major categories, they are Sensory motor stage, pre-operational stage, concrete operation stage and formal operation stage.
Children suffer from many psychological disorders like behavioral, emotional, mental or learning disabilities. Most of the conditions cycle with worsening phase followed by improvement phase. Some conditions resolve in childhood itself while some persist till adulthood. These disorders can only be managed with prompt diagnosis and right treatment.
