About Endocrine Disorders
Endocrine disorders are caused due to the hormonal imbalance of the Endocrine glands. Endocrine Disorders are of three types: 1) Hyposecretion of a Hormone 2) Hypersecretion of a hormone 3) Development of tumors in the Endocrine System. Endocrine disorders are typically grouped into two categories: a) Endocrine disease that results when a gland produces too much or too little of an endocrine hormone, called a hormone imbalance b) Endocrine disease due to the development of lesions (such as nodules or tumors) in the endocrine system, which may or may not affect hormone levels.
