About Pharmacovigilance

Pharmacovigilance is the pharmacological science relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects, particularly long term and short term side effects of medicines.

The major goal of this activity is to improve the safe and rational use of medicines, thereby improving patient care and public health.

Pharmacovigilance involves with starting from the disease to the patient administration doses in daily basis along with the side effects and efficacy of the molecule administered.
