About Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is surgery to reshape the nose. It can make the nose larger or smaller and change the angle of the nose in relation to the upper lip. Nose surgery is done to improve an obstructed airway requires careful evaluation of the nasal structure as it relates to airflow and breathing. It may be done using general or local anesthesia. It is usually done as an outpatient procedure but sometimes requires a one night stay in the hospital. Surgeons who do Rhinoplasty have training in Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology.
