Abstract

Semi-automated Image Processing for Preclinical Bioluminescent Imaging

Small animal bioluminescence imaging (BLI) is used to observe noninvasively and in real time the presence or activation of specific biological process at the molecular level. With a multi-camera BLI device capable of tomographic studies, the 3D spatial distribution and temporal dynamics of luciferase expressing cells within the animal can be measured in great detail.
